My Cybersmart Media Art

Talofa Lava Bloggers!

In week 5, we had to watch tutorials from YouTube and we had to try and make a piece of art following the tutorial. The three choices we had were drawing a minion, making art on google drawings and making art on Pixel art. I chose to make art on a google drawing because it looks fun and creative. I didn’t really learn anything new today but I hope I will next week. I enjoyed picking my photo my photo that I chose was a Samoan Teuila flower. I found drawing with the Polyline tool to outline my photo. The part in the video where it zooms in helped me because I didn’t think of zooming in to make it easier. What didn’t help me learn was when I had to draw lots and lots of shapes and so it kind of confused me a bit.

Here is the tutorial video I used:

Cybersmart- Researching

Talofa Lava Bloggers!

Today we were doing some research for Cybersmart. We had these slides that had words like who, the who and a who. We had to research the word/words and screenshot the results. We had more slides like that we had to do. After we finished those activities we had to do another activity where there were some questions and we had to highlight the words we can search instead of a whole sentence and we had to answer the questions. My favourite part was the first activity where we had to screenshot the results. The challenging part was when I researched my answer twice but both results were different so I got confused.

What way do you find easier to research?

What is Media?

Kia Ora Bloggers!

In week 1, we were learning about the media. Media is stuff like billboards, newspapers and stuff that give you information. We had activities on a slide that we had to do. After we did the activities, we had a choice to make something about media on Word art, Google drawings or Google sheets. I chose word art. The week after that, we had to make a Scratch project about media.

Here are the  slides and my word art:
