Cyber Smart New Artical

In week 4, we got to make a news artical for cyber smart. We have been working around media so we make a newspaper artical as an activity for our media subject. First we had to do an activity where we had to label each part of a newspaper on google slides. We got to make our newspaper artical about anything so I chose cooking with Ms P because I couldn’t think of much.

This year, the year 5&6 have been cooking with one of the teachers Miss P. Term 1 and 2 were the sixes and term 3 and 4 were the year fives turn. When it was me and my groups (Crystal,Vienna and Blane) turn, we made Spaghetti Bol0gnese  Cups in term 2 and Peach and Apple Shortcake in term 4. I forgot the recipe for both dishes but they were very delicious!

My Holiday<3 

In the holidays I didn’t really go out, I just stayed home but I actually enjoyed staying home spending time with my family. One day when my dad was at work he called my mum and asked what we were going to have for dinner. After he asked my mum he then told my mum to tell me to start peeling the potatoes. Then I got off the couch and went to the kitchen to start peeling. While I was peeling the potatoes my dad finally came home. When my dad came home he helped me with the potatoes. After we peeled them my mum asked me to rinse the potatoes with cold water. Secondly my mum started to cut them but then I asked if I could do it because I knew I was going to get bored and so she let me. First she showed me how to cut it then I tried. But before I even started cutting it my  mum gave me a smaller knife to cut it with. After I cut it my mum then started to boil it. When it was finished boiling we let it cool down on the window. After it cooled down me and my sister added some milk,butter,salt,and pepper. Then we started to mash it. I felt very happy and excited because I love to cook. It’s just too fun for me!
